The patina on this little holder is already starting to develop after just a week of use with my thin taper, which gives it a lovely aged character. At 3/8” it holds those slim beeswax candles snugly without any wobble, and the solid brass feels genuinely substantial for its small size.
The weight of the solid brass is just right—it feels substantial without being bulky, and my 3/8” beeswax candle fits snugly with zero wobble. It’s already earned a permanent spot on my windowsill.
I was worried it would feel too flimsy for the price, but the solid brass has a real heft to it that makes the whole thing feel sturdy. The 3/8” opening grips my thin beeswax candle perfectly without any wobble, and it’s already got a lovely warm patina starting after just a few burns.
